Went to Teamlab this past week. Incredible experience and my family really enjoyed it. Two thoughts.
Arrival. Had a ticket for 9-9:30AM. Entered around 8:45AM. Not sure if this normal or always available. We just arrived earlier than expected. Maybe 10 people already inside. For about 30min it was mostly empty, we were in most rooms by ourself. Incredible to play with my daughter in the rooms and observe the art. Masses of people started to arrive between 9:30-10AM. It really became less exciting after all of the other people arrived, but still a good experience with about 10-20 people per room.
We took the train to the Yamiyacho Station and walked to the entrance on Google Maps. For some reason, Google puts the entrance way up high on the Sakuraasa St. If you just go into the Azabudai Mall on the Main Street the Borderless entrance is closer.
Also a great coffee shop inside, called "%". Had one of my best coffee's in Tokyo at the shop.
