Developing a second brain for measurements (an American problem)

So I feel like this is a problem that's really only an American problem, and maybe only if you haven't gotten used to it from exposure to places that use it enough…

But on measurements (especially temperature), how can you get yourself to not want to think about like, the imperial equivalent? I find myself instinctively wanting to think about like, Fahrenheit whenever I hear a temperature in Celsius (when I ask Google about the weather in Japanese).
