Job role doesn’t match with Degree

I am graduating from a Japanese university this year in August. I already received a job offer as a system engineer from a big japanese (大手) company and planning to join there. However, the issue is that my major is in economics, which is a humanities field and is not directly related to the system engineer role. I have heard that it may not be possible to obtain a work visa if my job position does not align with my degree. I am wondering if there is anyone who is working in the IT field and joined as a new graduate despite graduating from a humanities background.
