Is this a good itinerary? (with a senior)

  • Local restaurants

June 28 (Fri) – Day 5

June 30 (Sun) – Day 7

  • Hakone Day Tour
    • Tenzan Onsen

July 1 (Mon) – Day 8

  • Omoide Yokocho

July 2 (Tues) – Day 9

  • FREE DAY
  • Pack and Travel to Narita Airport

I am finalizing our itinerary since we will be purchasing tickets in advance already. Is this a good itinerary considering we will be travelling with a senior (will bring a wheelchair)? June 26 is the only date wherein the cloud cover is low (checking the weather forecast in kawaguchiko).

Other questions:
– Do I need to book the skytree in advance? I figured since we are already going to shibuya sky, will it still be worth it?

  • Is it okay to put the Hakone Day tour on a weekend (it may be crowded and we have to wait too long for the attractions here)? Is there a better way to arrange my itinerary and put something else on the weekend?

-Do I need to purchase the free passes (hakone and nikko) in advance? We want to be flexible with our schedule when it comes to day trip bc if we might be too tired, we might take a rest day instead.
