A company sponsored my work visa to Japan last year. It did not take me long to realize that I was in the wrong place. Upon this realization, I started to seek other opportunities. My visa expired in the last week of May. I applied for the renewal in the first week of the same month. I recently received a good job offer but since my visa is under the renewal process, there are a few problems.
The new office does not support visa services for the first few months. In my current office, I expressed my desire to leave the company to my boss but he didn't take it very well. He threatened to call immigration and cancel my visa renewal process. He also intimidated me by saying that he would accuse me of stealing sensitive documents.
My current workplace is killing me physically and mentally and hence I desperately want to switch. The visa might take 1 to 2 more months. The job offer will not wait for 2 months.
Suggestions?
