What is this sashimi? Very thick/chewy consistency.


I have loved every piece of sashimi I’ve eaten during my time in Japan EXCEPT this. Kind of glue-y. I don’t think it was spoiled/bad in any way, just a strange consistency. I think I had it on another occasion too but it was sliced very thinly and was a little more tolerable. I’m just curious. Thank you!
