So I went with a friend to an AYCE sushi place. $29 each. Decent grub but you need to only order what you think you can finish, otherwise you get an additional charge for the roll at take out price (8-12$ depending).
I get it. Seems fair. I figure if most rolls are 8 no big deal. Well it wasn't until we ordered our last rolls. I got a volcano roll (spicy everything basically) and she got a 'BMW'.
OK. Weird name. Rolls come out…. Jesus…
Mine was fine but… Hers… It was a spicy tuna roll, cream cheese, spicy mayo and eel sauce. Then seemed like it was rolled in tempura batter and fried??
It was so heavy. And warm yet cold gross.
I checked the menu and it is listed as deep fried. So ya know… Can't really complain. But… Is that a thing? It's listed under their specialty menu.
We could only finish a piece each before being extremely grossed out. Got charged tje obviously not finished extra but was worried we'd get sick trying to save 9 dollars.
