Saying Goodbye to Food Service Coworkers?

I understand that, while leaving an office, you say something like 『お先に失礼します』. Does that hold true for any place of work such as a fast food restaurant? Or would one normally say something different in that setting?

  1. Go with お疲れ様です – the implication of お先に失礼します is that it’s rude for you to leave on-time, and I think it’s one of those cultural things we could do without…
