I’m in Kyoto today and heading to Fushimi Inari in a bit. I’d like to start getting goshuin at each temple or shrine I go to, but I read that you have to have a special book for this called a Goshuincho. Where is a good place to get one in the general area? I’m currently near the Bamboo Forest, so if there’s any around here or in Fushimi Inari that would be great!

Basically any temple or shrine will sell goshuincho. If you want to be sure they offer goshuin/goshuincho, head to a more medium-sized or large temple/shrine. I’m pretty sure all the major places in Arashiyama will sell one, and Fushimi Inari definitely will.
If you want to get one before heading to temples/shrines, stationery stores and department stores like Loft and Hands also sell them (on the stationery floors).
Any temple / shrine which sells goshuin will also sell goshuincho.
If you want to check out designs beforehand to make sure you can get a book you like, here is the Yelp of Goshuin: https://omairi.club/
Most temples sell them. I just got back from Japan last week, and this is my favorite souvenir.
Even smaller temples sell. I remember I saw the books at Eikan-do and Shore-in, too.
Fushimi Inari has goshuincho https://omairi.club/spots/77978/goshuincho When I visited last year I got these 2 at Fushimi Inari to paste in mine https://imgur.com/KeXiPVt
