Taxes under a 1y+ student status

Hi! I'll be moving to Japan next year on a student visa and I plan to stay in Japan at least for 2 years as a student (either language or vocational school). While studying, I'll be working remotely (not for a Japanese company) and will be paid through Wise – I was then planning to transfer the money to a Japanese bank account to pay for my living costs and tuition fees. My question is: do I have to worry about taxes at all in this situation? In a similar analogy, if someone goes to Japan to study in an University for 4 years and their parents send money for them to pay for the living costs and tuition, I'd imagine they wouldn't have to worry about taxes as well? – which seems to me pretty much the same situation. Any light on the topic is highly appreciated!
