Need some help about phone service in Japan (Leaving soon)

So my phone (Samsung Galaxy A32 5G) is currently set up for Straight Talk wireless, I go and buy a new card at my local Walmart every month and use the code to renew my service for the month.

Of course, I've done some research, and AFAIK Straight Talk doesn't provide service in Japan, nonetheless being able to make a Japan-to-U.S. call.

I've tried looking into other carriers but as I'm still very new to having a phone as I only got one last year and have only used Straight Talk, I'm a little lost about how to use other carriers; but from what I can tell, it seems like Verizon offers an international service that allows Japan-to-U.S. calls, but apparently my phone's model doesn't appear on the list of phones supported by that plan.

Not only that, but I've also tried looking at Airalo's eSIM for data in Japan as I would be willing to spend $20 something for the 20 GB 30 day plan, but unfortunately, my phone also doesn't have eSIM functionality.

I'm going to be leaving on June 18 so I would greatly appreciate any help or advice on what I should do. I'm just so lost.
