My first day in Tokyo was a total failure, in regards to food. Ended up eating 7-11 sandwiches. Maybe it was the cultural shock, but holy shit I have never seen such big crowds eveywhere you go.
I tried to go Sushiro by Shinjuku station and holy shit it was an adventure just trying to go up the 6th floor to the restaurant just to find out it was a 90 min wait. 🙁
So for round 2 tomorrow we are giving sushiro a try but also want some ramen.
Can someone please recommend some locations that doesnt have such big crowds? I dont mind getting off the beaten path.

EDIT: wow thanks for all your response. I got my Ubigi e-sim setup and finally got decent internet. Ill will try again today, just dropping at spots around us and dont worry about choosing a specific place.
