Where do you currently work / find part time work as a student in Kyoto?

1. YOLO Japan (terrible name I know) has a job listing page and they have mostly part time jobs at restaurants or hotels.

   And there’s the Jobs in Kansai Facebook page where people post job listings though recently they tend to be mostly teaching for kids jobs.

   GaijinPot Jobs is another popular resource but the Kyoto listings are very sparse. Occasionally some jobs pop up there though they seem to be for full time positions.

   Honestly I would just keep an eye out for スタッフ募集 signs at your local shops. There are always shops hiring if you don’t mind working for minimum wage in restaurants.

2. If your Japanese is good: Town work.
   Don’t forget to vet the jobs as well. Personally I found job postings with more photos and a lot of descriptions related to a good working place or at least friendly members.

3. for me my connections worked best. had a friend work at a hotel as a cleaner and he helped me get a job there too. when I tried looking for jobs by myself I failed terribly
