Hello all,
I am going to be visiting Japan later this year for 3 weeks, from the 4th to the 26th of October. Most of the trip has already been planned, starting from Fukuoka and making my way up to Tokyo throughout the 3 weeks. However, there are 2 nights, the 9th and the 10th, that is up in the air. Originally, I was planning on staying in Onomichi for those 2 nights, but I have taken an interest in visiting Matsuyama at some point, and was wondering if following the original plan of staying in Onomichi and making a day trip would be feasible, or if it would be a better idea to stay in Onomichi for a night and in Matsuyama for the other, and if so, which order would be best.
If it's of any help, I will be staying in Hiroshima for the 7th and the 8th, and will be moving on to Osaka on the 11th. I'm aware that a ferry service runs between Hiroshima and (near?) Matsuyama, so will likely incorporate that into the plan should I end up visiting.
