Gifts for my Japanese Client

I am coming to visit my clients in Japan. Would it be okay to give them Indian tea and a statue of the Indian God Ganesh (elephant headed God)

I know Japan has his gifting culture so thought will Indian tea be a good choice considering their liking for tea
