I arrive at NRT Aug 31st at noon and leave from NRT Sep 14th afternoon. I'm planning to see Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, with a day trip to Hiroshima. This is my draft Tokyo itinerary for about 7 days, hence the asterisks. I haven't really done enough planning for Kyoto and Osaka to ask for a review on those 🙂
About me:
- Coming from a ~19 hour journey from Toronto, Canada
- Solo traveler, very comfortable walking 20-25k+ steps/day consistently for two weeks
- I enjoy being in moderate crowds and don't mind heavy ones
- Interested in: art, history, tech (especially trains), city exploration, kpop
- Not interested in: retro gaming, anime, manga, disney
General notes:
- Any evening/night that I still have energy and time, I will spend checking out the nightlife around Shinjuku (Ni-Chome in particular). I'm not into dancing/clubbing but always ready to enjoy a nice bar
- I will have a half day in Tokyo the day before I leave. I am keeping that free for adjustments/additions during the trip

Any feedback would be much appreciated!
- Am I missing any obvious things/places?
- Do I have too little planned in any of the days? I'm a bit worried about Sep 1st
- Any recommendations for nice bars or arcades around Shinjuku station?
- Any recommendations for good stores for Kpop merch specifically? I have a list of places for albums but I'd love to pick up some merch without paying for international shipping
