I'm planning to enter university here, private one. The tuition is currently 1.25 million yen a year and the previous 3 years it didn't really change. I also noticed on Google it says that tuition used to be just under 800,000 yen a year in 2012-13. Did private universities really double tuition in the past year? Should I be concerned of large tuition cost increases while attending?
