Osaka station to Kyoto station using Special Rapid Service (JR Kyoto Line)

Hi everyone,

I will be travelling to Japan in the next couple of months. I will be visiting kyoto from osaka for a couple of days and I'm trying to plan my trips between Osaka station and Kyoto station. I saw an article from the Osaka transportation guide which mentions the Special Rapid Service from Osaka to Kyoto will take around 30min. When I tried searching the route on Google map, it showed the trip would take around 45min instead.

Does anyone know how long the trip between Osaka and Kyoto using the Special Rapid Service?
