We’re two young guys in our early twenties and we need to know if our current plan for our two week trip in october is viable. For starters, we Arrive 8pm or so at hotel in Ohkubo (we still have time to change hotel but im guessing Ohkubo is not a half bad area? 4 min away from Shin Ohkubo Yamanote line and just next to Ohkubo station), sleep. After that here’s out plan:
Wednesday to Saturday: explore Tokyo and maximize so that we really have a good time. Visit Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ikebukuro, Ueno, Ginza etc etc.
Sunday morning: shinkansen to Osaka. Either go to Universal studios the entire day or just explore Osaka.
Monday: Kyoto
Tuesday: Kobe
Wednesday: check out from hotel before noon, explore Osaka or Nara. Then night bus back to Tokyo.
Thursday-Tuesday: back in tokyo for any missed activities or shopping.
Wednesday: travel back home.
How does this itinerary look like? Any suggested changes? I kinda also wanna go to Hakone or at the very least get closer to Mt Fuji but unsure of when to fit that in.
