Tokyo 3 Day Itinerary: Help!

** edited Itinerary, would still like any suggestions!

Hello!

I'm traveling with a family of 6 (4 adults, 2 kids) to Tokyo in July. City-focused bc we will see more scenic/traditional spots on our 3 day Kyoto trip!

Is there anything I should replace or squeeze in? Lmk, thanks!

Day 1, Thursday:

  • 3 PM: Check-in hotel in Shiomi (but prolly will arrive 1-2 PM)
  • train to Ginza 30 min~
  • 4 PM: shop GU, walk around, eat dinner (Ginza is mostly luxury brands so we won’t shop much. Mom just REALLY wants to go to GU lol.)
    • edit: after suggestions, will change this to akihabara. Will hit Ginza if we have extra time bc we checked in early. They're fairly close
  • train to Koto City 20-30 min
  • 8:30 PM Teamlabs Planets

Day 2, Friday:

  • Disney Sea all day

Day 3, Saturday:

  • 10 AM: leave hotel
  • 11 AM: arrive in Takeshita St -> explore & eat -> leave around 3
    • Edit: changed this to Ikebukero after suggestions (better for my fam)
  • 4 PM: arrive in Shibuya -> explore & eat
  • ?: Shibuya sky. (Might go to Takeshita first, depends on what time slot we could book).
    • Edit: could not cop evening/late Shibuya sky tix instead planning 9 PM Roppongi Hills Observation Deck

Questions (old):

  • Should we skip GU (sorry Mom) and explore Odaiba (or somewhere else) before TeamPlanets Lab instead?
  • Is there quality/cheap anime merch in Shibuya/Takeshita St? Wish we could go to Akihabara or Ikebukero but no time
  • Some people say to avoid Takeshita on the weekends or skip it altogether. Is it worth the visit? Or should I skip Takeshita and replace it with another city/spot?

New Questions:

  • Day 3: If we arrive in Shibuya at 4 PM, is that enough time to explore if we have to be in Roppongi at 9? It'd prolly be 2 hours explore, 2 hour eat at restaurant / get back to station. Roppongi isn't worth it if it means rushing Shibuya. Should I cut time from Ikebukuro instead? Or just skip Roppongi? I don't think my family is the type to care desperately about seeing a skyline;unless you guys think it is a must-have experience? Lmk any thoughts.
