Hello. Im almost ij my 2nd month here in Japan and Im based in Hiroshima City. The honeymoon phase is over and I feel lonely. I work for an eikaiwa and have odd work hours. Do you know any community I can go to? Or maybe any suggestions how to overcome the loneliness?
At the moment I dont know a lot of Japanese and thats what making it worse too. I feel like an alien (which I really am) but anyways, I dont know what to do or where to go. Thanks in advance for your responses.

Go visit Molly Malone’s. Nothing beats an Irish pub to meet foreigners.
Also, general advice applies. Get a hobby. Join a club. Volunteer with a NGO. Great way to overcome language barriers and meet people.
The foreigner population isn’t so big in Hiroshima, as Mazda and Micron are the two main employers.
Language school/courses that offer classes once or a couple of times a week. You’ll improve your Japanese and get to know other foreigners at the same time.
