I'm graduating with a PhD (biotech) in Japan soon and I would like to live in japan in the future. I'm job hunting right now and I was wondering if having some job experience in US and coming back to Japan will help me get a better salary compared to if I just continue to work in a Japanese company from start.
Definitely, US gives higher salary but when I think about the cost of living I feel like that the quality of life would be the same even with the low salary in Japan.
