So I'm on a dependent visa , my workplace is applying for a work visa for me. My boss asked me to ring my passport and my residence card so he can send it to the " certified administrative procedures legal specialist ". He said they will issue a " deposit certificate " that will temporarily replace my residence card. Is this normal?
