Hi Reddit,
I'm seeking advice from anyone who has been in a similar situation. My employer, a Fintech company based in the UK, wants me to go to Japan to assess the existing market and collaborate with our team in Australia.
However, looking through the visa options, most require sponsorship from a Japanese company or an existing entity in the country, ruling out options like the Intra-company Transferee Visa. The new digital nomad visa would allow me to stay for six months, but we were hoping for a year or two.
Does anyone know if there are Japanese companies that hire foreigners onto their payroll and issue visas on behalf of international companies for a fee?
Many thanks!
