Hi guys this is my 3rd years in Nagoya and summer have been hellish. AC is a NG since I’ll probably be moving next year and all the installation is a hustle that I don’t wanna go through.
Was looking for alternatives and it probably comes down to evaporative cooler or dehumidifier. To my knowledge an evaporative cooler while lowering the temperature increase the humidity so in japan’s humid climate it probably no better than a regular fan. And dehumidifier while not altering the temperature, lowers the humidity so you don’t feel 蒸し暑い.
I’d love to get your opinion on this matter cuz I don’t think I can get through another summer with only a fan and a small window.
