My friend and I are both 26, and we want to travel to Japan. We are planning to go around Christmas and New Year's, so we thought about traveling from December 20th to January 10th.
I have never planned such a big trip before. I know it’s going to be very cold, and that many places will be closed because of New Year's. I also heard that it can be very crowded during this time.
My question is what is it like touring Japan during these dates? Should we consider making the trip earlier and avoid being there during New Year's?
