Yaruki Switch Group Ex teachers?

Currently working there and miserable all the time. I want to quit but confused about whether the contract states a 1 month notice or a 3 month notice? If you used to work there, what was the process of quitting like for you?

  1. How long have you worked there?

Any company cannot just force you to work there more than the legal required days (30). If you’re within your first year it is suggested to not go against what your contract says. Even with this in mind, no company is going to sue a teacher as the costs would be more than it is worth. This is the normal message said for posts like this.

Just offer the 30 day notice and have another job lined up.

  2. I was on a year contract and they decided not to renew me for business reasons. They were running out of money and decided the easiest way to save was to cut staff.

  3. 30 days.

Although I advise job hunting meanwhile. You’ll need a job to maintain your visa. Once unemployed you will have about 3 months before your visa comes into question. So you can either quit and spend those three months looking for a new job or grind through the process and apply for jobs and then quit.

  4. My ex-coworker worked for them when she moved to Japan, she was actually quite happy (so totally depends on the location and the managers) but shit went down and she had to take over her fiancé’s post at my former company. She gave them the 30 days notice after only working with them for about two months and she had 0 issues!

  5. Curious why you’re miserable? I also work ysg and find it a breeze to work … do you have shitty bilinguals?
