So a couple of days ago (lmao for GCW’s relevancy that I’m only now hearing about it) GCW changed their plans for June 2nd.
Originally they had announced Blake Christian defending his GCW World title against Joey Janela for the show, meaning Christian would not be able to work the BOSJ semifinals on June 3rd.
Now they have stripped Blake of the title, and will be having a gauntlet match at the show to determine a new Champ.
So there is once again a possibility that Blake could be in the BOSJ semifinals. All he would need to do is beat Fujita in his final match, the other match outcomes would not effect his place. He would be second in the block, with the winner of Desperado vs HAYATA being first.
