I just got a new (2nd hand lol) iPhone 12 and checked the legal and regulatory and it doesn't include Japan so am not sure it will work ? The question is about eSIM as i literally just found out about it 5 mins ago- if i use say Airola app and buy a plan will it auto connect my iPhone when i arrive in Japan?
Also with my original sim card in how can i be sure i wont be charged any roaming costs from original mobile phone carrier or will using an eSIM mean that 100% wont happen ?
