No more boring ass Tongan matches. Thanks HHH, a better partner than Tony and HHH ain’t even trying…
Whenever somebody asks for NJPW match recommendations, I always see Okada vs Omega, Shibata vs Ishii, Okada vs Tanahashi, etc. I’m baffled that I’ve yet to see someone recommend this match. Kota Ibushi vs Jay White from G1 Climax 2019 finale is one of the purest babyface vs heel matches of all time

With BOSJ almost over, who do you think could win the tournament?
Do you think it’s a missed opportunity not having Fujita be a contender at the top of the block? Or have him where he is with a junior tag program after BOSJ is over?
Have you guys seen Kidani latest thoughts on the yen and how expensive foreign talent are? Do you think it’s time they limit thr Gaijins they have or will obtain?
What would your thoughts be if Oiwa came back to new Japan with his own faction? It would make him standout and not relegate him to the boring format the company has when returning Yl returns.
Since new japan doesn’t have a choice in the matter. Which of the young gen should be the focus of FD3? I would have Shota,Tsuji,War Dogs, and Fujita be front and center for the ppv.
Do you think we will get any announcements on some matches for Forbidden Door?
To make the G1 feel special again should they have certain qualifier matches instead of having people who have been their repeatedly not be in the tournament? Love Tana and Ishii but certain guys should be in the tournament. And it feels like we’re stuck with a ton of repetitive match ups.
What wrestler should’ve been elevated in the tournament or was everyone in the tournament booked the way they should’ve been booked?
Did last Sunday show felt like a true Best of the Super Juniors show compared to the rest of the shows since the start of the tournament?
Any thoughts on Dia going 0-7 now?
For context, he was one of DGs bigger stars of the last couple years and is likely going to be the mascot of the company in the same way Kid was before him.
Many of the DG fanbase are generally a little dissatisfied and beginning to question whether “exposure” is worth losing all these matches. Especially for some one of Dias caliber who can be generally considered an upper midcarder.
The main thing people think DG might get out of it is a NJPW appearance at Kobe World or a DG G1 appearance. Do you have any names (in either company) who would work in those positions? (Sorry for the long questions haha)
Do you think NJPW/Gedo take too long to promote their young guys?
It seems to be getting a little better (Oleg and Fujita come to mind as successes) but I feel like a lot of guys seem to stick in Young Lion/Rookie status for a long while.
I wonder if the new guys who are struggling to get over (it feels sometimes like Tsuji is the only over new guy) would be doing better had they been in the mix a bit earlier when Japanese wrestling as a whole was a lot hotter.
Thoughts on the Mox vs Takeshita match at DoN?
Who do think will be challenging for the heavyweight title next?
Do you guys think new Japan got too comfortable having a ton of talent not have any sort of change or character development? Ishimori, Bushi, Ishii, Goto, etc who are the same characters they been for years.
Do any of the factions currently feel special in any way? For me I think new Japan was better off having 5 factions like 2017.
This year has seen the ascension of two young sumo stars in Takerufuji and Onosato, as well as the escalation of other young rikishi such as Kotozakura/Kotonowaka.
What can NJPW learn from sumo’s own Youth Movement?
Thoughts on Oiwa’s turn? Seems he’s being setup to be recruited by Kidd.
Why is Naito the best especially after he took a Honma headbutt on a BOSJ undercard last night?
After Yujiro passed on his Tokyo Pimps to SHO, what other moves should he be giving away? Should EVIL take Miami Shine?
Eddie Hearn and Frank Warren are going to be holding a 5v5 card in Saudia Arabia. How much would the crown prince need to throw around for Top Rank and PBC to have a similar card? How do you feel about Saudi Arabia putting these superfights/supercards together, especially knowing that the crowds aren’t great and the morality of knowing that the regime ordered a man put through a woodchipper?
