Hello! I'll be taking this route I found on Google from Takayama to Kusatsu. I have a few concerns about this amount of transfers.
How do I get the bus tickets, for the 2 Takayama Line buses and the last bus from Karuizawa to Kusatssu? Is there a website that I can buy them in advanced or do these buses accept Suica? Also for the Shinkansen, that must be booked in advanced, correct?
Because of all the transfers, I want to use luggage sending, because there is a Yamato Center in Takayama. The website of the hotel I'm staying at says they do "courier services" but I don't know if this means they also accept luggage from Yamato?
