Me, my wife and 2 year old toddler will be in japan from 28th Sep – 13th Oct. I am planning to stay for the first 6 nights in Tokyo and then move down south.
I am confused if I should base myself out of Kyoto while visiting Osaka, Nara and Hiroshima. The other option would be 4-5 days in Kyoto and 2 days in Osaka. I am leaning towards the first option as shifting hotels is a pain with a toddler.
Also, which area in Kyoto will be best place to stay considering my predicament?
