Weird situation in B block with Akira’s injury.

So here’s the standings in the B Block after tonight’s show, as well as the final two opponents for all competitors – for simplicity’s sake, I’m just going to put it out like Akira is still in, and so I haven’t given Robbie and SHO the extra 2 points they’re guaranteed to get on the last two nights.

Hiromu Takahashi [10] – Moloney, Ishimori

Taiji Ishimori [10] – SHO, Hiromu

Robbie Eagles [8] – Akira, DOUKI

SHO [8] – Ishimori, Akira

Dan Moloney [8] – Hiromu, Mack

KUSHIDA [8] – DOUKI, Dia

DOUKI [8] – KUSHIDA, Eagles

Ninja Mack [6] – Dia, Moloney

Francesco Akira [4] – Eagles, SHO

Dragon Dia [0] – Mack, KUSHIDA

Akira being injured has really messed up what I imagine their plans were. I’m going to guess that Akira was meant to spoil SHO on the last night and then DOUKI vs. Robbie would decide who went through along with the winner of Hiromu vs. Ishimori (Hiromu). But now, whoever wins the match on the 28th between SHO and Ishimori is nearly guaranteed going through, and DOUKI and Moloney are eliminated, unless my math is completely off. Or at least there’s no way where either of them advance alongside Hiromu and I think Hiromu going through is a foregone conclusion.

Ishimori gets to 12 if he beats SHO, and has tiebreakers over DOUKI, Robbie and Moloney. So he would only not make it through if KUSHIDA wins his last two, and Ishimori loses to Hiromu.

If SHO beats Ishimori, he gets to 10, and then gets the guaranteed 2 points from his final match with Akira. That would put him at 12 with tiebreakers over DOUKI and Moloney. So only Robbie and/or KUSHIDA winning their final two would knock him out.

I do feel comfortable saying KUSHIDA is not making it through. So I feel like it’s just Robbie preventing us from a likely SHO advancement.

I say all of this but this situation wouldn’t have been an issue if they had just put Moloney over Ishimori today, so maybe there is some plan here.
