Hello, I've been given my one month notice for my current place, as stated in the contract, with last day being July 10. Rent for June is fully paid already. The manager accepted the notice of leave and added that the full rent for July needs to be paid by end of June. I read the contract multiple times and there's nowhere written about this nor there's mention about pro-rated rent (which is what I was expecting, since it was pro-rated at the beginning of the rent). There's a paragraph though, that if someone wants to move in before my contract ends, they can return the rent pro-rated and ask me to leave early. So they can definitely do with pro-rated rent at some point.
I will consult with lawyers to be sure, but does anyone have any ideas or suggestions please? Thank you
