Hello, everyone! I just booked a last-minute trip to Okayama, Japan from at the end of the month (for a week) for some personal reasons.
This trip kind of came together quickly, and I haven't had a chance to plan much yet. Here's where I could use your help:
- Pocket Wifi: I'd love to stay connected while I'm there. Can I grab a pocket wifi rental at Haneda Airport during my layover, or can I get one at Okayama Airport?
- Must-See Okayama: Any recommendations for must-see sights or hidden gems in Okayama? Also, are there any day trips I should consider taking?
- Cash Situation: Since it's a last-minute trip, I'm wondering what the best way to get some spending money is. Should I try to exchange some USD to JPY here before I leave, or can I easily switch money over there in Okayama?
I've already done a little research and know I want to see the iconic Korakuen Garden and Okayama Castle (the "Crow Castle"). Of course, I'm also a big fan of Momotaro, the Peach Boy!
