i won't be taking a lot of ur time (hopefully).
in short, i'm moving to japan for work, for 4 months, in tokyo, asakusa to be more precise, and i have few questions that i'd like to get answers to (ps: i tried googling, but sometimes answers are different from one website to another…)
so here r the questions:
1/ i know that the public transport in japan is good (even great) but i want to know if i should be considering getting a pass for the stay, any recommendations ? or will pasmo passport be the best one ? (& can i have it ?)
2/ how much would u consider a daily average spending for food mainly, knowing that i don't eat a lot and that i'll be visiting only local stores and no tourist stuff ?
3/ i'm a huge anime & video games fan, and i play to buy a ps5 from japan, are there any specific shops/malls that i should go to ? is akahibara the perfect place for that ?
4/ if i plan to visit other cities, like Kyoto, should i book a shinkansen ticket in advance ? or tickets don't get more expensive when they are closer to the date ?
5/ as a foreigner, is it possible to have an electronic wallet ? cuz in my country, we don't have access to international visa/master card or even paypal. (although we have a card specifically for traveling purposes, but i'm hesitant on getting it, wondering if it will work or not…)
