I currently have a Diners card, and its contactless functionality only works on certain terminals and fails on others, causing a waste of time for me and the shop.
I'm fed up and want to change. I've been eyeing the SMBC Platinum Preferred card, but I can't deny the enticing bonuses over at AMEX.
Does anybody who regularly uses contactless with an AMEX, or a JCB card for that matter, run into any problems with some contactless terminals, or has it been a smooth experience for you?
Also if anybody has card recommendations aside from AMEX Gold and SMBC Platinum Preferred, I'd love to hear them.
