Creating a preposition “song”

I learned a song (with hand movements) in grade 7 for Spanish prepositions. I have it down so pat that I wanted to convert it into Japanese to help me learn the prepostions. I just needed help filling in the blanks. I apologize for the Romaji; I don’t have a hiragana keyboard installed on this computer. Thanks in advance for any help (or corrections) offered!

  1. First of all I want to point out, that my japanese is far from good. But I still got some words to fill your blanks. Keep in mind though, that you should double check on everything I say:

Between would be 間 – あいだ
I’m in between my father and mother – 私は父と母の間にいます。

Corner would be 片隅 – かたすみ
    I’m in that corner – 私はこの片隅にいます。

Since you have used 中 – なか as “in/inside” you can also use 外 – そと as “outside”.

I hope I was able to help you a little bit. 🙂

  2. I question the utility of doing this when, unlike Spanish, Japanese doesn’t really have English-style prepositions at all.
