Anyone ever had a skin tag removed?

IF so, how much did it cost? I knew I had a small one on my back, right by a shoulderblade. What I didn’t realize was just how big its gotten. Not often I crane my neck to look at my back. I only looked again because I saw some blood on a t-shirt. Look at hwere it wasandlooked in the mirror. Because of its position and how I sleep, on my back, its getting jostled a bit while I sleep, I guess.

  1. Yes. I got 2 burned with liquid nitrogen. They scabbed and fell off a few days later. I don’t remember the exact cost, but it was something like ¥1000-¥2000.

  2. A dermatologist (皮膚科) should be able to do it, and it won’t cost much if you have health insurance (maybe ¥1500?). Usually they can take walk-ins as well.

  3. Depending on the shape and size, you can remove it yourself by tying it up with a hair to cut blood flow. In your case, someone would have to help you.

  4. If you’re insured, it’ll cost about Â¥1000 at a dermatologist. The most difficult part of your visit will be having to fill out the patient information form. When you actually get to the doctor, you can just point.
