I travel pretty frequently with just a backpack. I'm not tied to a particular part of tokyo, but I prefer less crowded areas (and train lines). I was wondering which hotels were clean, quiet, and have ethernet jacks + laundry machines.
Last time I stayed at an APA near Asakusa and I enjoyed how small the rooms were. The only annoying part was there was only 1 elevator, so there was a decent wait sometimes. A nice desk + chair is a bonus, but not necessary.
