Itinerary Check: 3 days in Kyoto

Hi All,

I have planned out the 3 day itinerary in Kyoto (with lots of help from this sub) and was wondering what people thought. Is this all doable? too much? anything I'm missing at all?

Thanks!

Kyoto DAY X:

  • Torii Gates at Fushimi Inari Shrine (get there early) (optional if time: Tofuku-ji Temple)
    • Take Keihan Main Line metro to Kiyomizu Gojo station (around 7 min the trip) and walk 20 min to get to Kiyomizudera Temple
  • Kiyomizu-dera Temple → Otowanotaki Falls (leave by 10:30am)
  • Walk Higashiyama District (Yasakakamimachi) through Sannen Zaka and Ninen Zaka Path on way to Kodai-ji Temple (10:45am)
  • Ishibe-koji Alley
  • Kodai-ji Temple (leave by 1:00pm)

  • Tea ceremony
  • Nishiki Market (closes at 5.30pm)
