My buddies and I are struggling to plan our trip to Japan. This will be our first time attempting this level of travel.
For context there are three of us total all in our mid 20’s.
Are there any websites that predict the prices for flights?
Their portion of the trip will be from October 12th-25th. I have a standby ticket so I will be meeting up with them as soon as I can, and staying a half a week to a week longer.
One of our big sticking points is how long to stay in each location. Right now we are considering Tokyo (6 days), Osaka (2 days), Kyoto (3 days), Hiroshima (1 day), and Kanazawa (1 day). We’re open to suggestions.
Tentative list of things we want to do:
•Akihabara (Shops, arcades, other suggestions)
•Go to a Baseball game (Looks like regular season might be over. Would the playoffs start when we are there? Would we be able to get tickets and how much should we expect to pay?)
•Samurai Experience
•Sumo fight or some sort of MMA
•Would a relaxation day be suggested in the middle of the trip? (We were thinking A hot spring and or a spa day like experience)
•A Temple
•Possibly a Michelin Star restaurant
•Possibly Mount Fuji
Ideally we could keep hotel cost somewhat minimal. We will likely stay in a mix of budget hotels, airbnbs, and hostels. Recommendations on sleeping arrangements are more than welcome!
Any other tips and suggestions on things to do, restaurants, coffee shops, and other must do’s would be greatly appreciated!
Sorry if this is to much.
