I'm finalising my trip planning as we are leaving for japan in a months time. Most of the travel between cities is straightforward, but I can't get my head round this one; what in your opinion is the best way to travel from kawaguchiko to matsumoto? bus to kofu, then train, or train to otsuki, then train to matsumoto? (or another option alltogether). and as a bonus question; do i need to book limited express trains in advance?
