Transferring inheritance money from Japan to Canada: What is the best way?

ETA: My title is wrong. That should read "from Canada to Japan."

My mom recently died and left a very small inheritance to my two sisters, and me. We will each receive about $20,000 CAD (2.35 million yen) and will not be inheriting any property or other assests of significant value. I am the only resident of Japan. My sisters both live in Canada. From my understanding, because the total value of my mom's estate and my share of the inheritance are so low, I am not subject to any Japanese inheritance taxes.

My question is what is the best way to have this money wired/transferred to my Japanese bank account? I do not have a bank account in Canada. My sister is the executor of the estate and would be the one responsible for transferring/wiring the money. Also, what will I need to tell or provide my bank (SMBC), prior to receiving this money? Is there a better alternative other than a direct wire transfer (SWIFT), for example, using an intermediary like Wise?

Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.
