Looking for snowshoe spots in Nagano in mid- end December

I am flying to Tokyo at end December (tentative 21 December to 2 Jan ) and will be doing Tokyo/Nagano/ Takayama/Shirakawa/ Kanazawa . I am still considering Toyama and whether to do suwa

I would like to do snowshoeing during Nagano(or any other spots adjacent to above) suitable for a beginner.

Currently I have identified Togakushi but would like to have another. Any suggestions?
