Credit card was canceled without warning to today because they “couldn’t confirm my residency qualifications had been renewed.”
Have applied for a card all over again. Could this mean I should have contacted Mitsui myself when my residency (spouse visa) was renewed? Seems very sudden and drastic to cancel my card without giving the chance to update.
Am hoping to avoid this hassle next time I renew. It’s been almost impossible to get in touch with a human being at Mitsui Sumitomo so am asking for advice here.
If anyone here has experience with this kind of thing I’d like to hear your thoughts. Thank you.
