I'm planning to visit Japan for the first time in late November for about 2.5 weeks. I'm mainly concerned about booking good hotels as I can figure out the flight, food, and other stuff. I'm planning a budget of $5000 (USD) that includes everything involved with traveling.
I plan to visit Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Hiroshima, Kagoshima, and Okinawa, and then back to Tokyo.
I'd like to try at least one capsule hotel and one ryokan or a hotel with an onsen. The others I'd prefer regular hotels that aren't too expensive, but still comfortable.
From what I've checked, there are so many hotels everywhere. Does anyone have any advice on what to look for and booking the right hotels within my budget?
