Thanks to some unanticipated time off (and frequent flyer miles) I’m planning on a short trip to Japan later this year.
The flights are to/from NRT, and after accounting for Tokyo stuff I want to do I have five free nights the first week of December. One thing I was not able to fit into an earlier trip, but which looked utterly cool, was the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum. So I’m thinking of:
- Two nights Fukui (dino museum; Eiheiji temple; Echizen; eat crab)
- Two nights at a ryokan near Gifu (relax; maybe hike a little)
- One night Nagoya (Nabana no Sato winter illumination; maybe revisit Ghibli Park now that more of it is open)
Is there any feedback on this proposed itinerary?
