I’ve read a bit about Onsen towns but am still looking for a little bit of help. I’m going with my wife to Tokyo and Kyoto and wanted to get an onsen experience, specifically something we could do together if that’s possible (I guess it would be private). I wouldn’t mind spending money to stay at a nice private experience (vs just the day) if that’s a better option. Does anyone have any recommendations? I’d prefer a private or secluded experience vs being in one with a hundred other people right next to me.
