*english is not my first language sorry for the grammatical mistakes *
I’ve been trying to learn Japanese for so long and was never able to be consistent, i kept trying and failing and one of the thing that was holding me back the most was vocabulary.
I just didn’t want to learn words, it was too difficult for me; it got so bad that i was learning n3 grammar with not even n5 vocabulary (yeah I know it was really stupid of me)
I could speak(obviously because I didn’t have the vocabulary to be able to speak) so i got frustrated and decided to quit; I stopped learning Japanese for about 3 years.
This year as a new year resolution I decided to restart learning Japanese, at first everyday but then I decided that I’d be better to have a day off on Sundays.
I came up with a detailed study plan (I’m a control freak and often feel the need to use every resource i encounter),
It’s divided in 5 parts and loosely follow the jlpt test, and today I learned my 1000th word!!!!
I’m so happy I never even thought that I’d even learn 500 words talk less of a thousand!!
I still haven’t finished the first part of my study plan but i feel so accomplished!!
